Chapter Fifty One: The Prophecy of Authorship
Some would say that the prophecy is like a clock, while others would say it is the categorization of what must actually transpire. The urging of the prophetic urgency happens when the substance of time separates itself from the linear flow of spatial dimensions that is ultimately dictated by the present state of things.
And at the forefront of this prophetic circumstances are the authorship of some persons who have personally relied on their instincts, and from where the instincts develop through the creative process of visual thinking and the playful imagination of words, the author stands on his premises to defend his thinking and the vivid imagery of his prose and through his devotion to his own writing style.
But many are not convinced how the prophecies actually originated, and what criteria was used to separate a validly conceived prophetic message to those that are mainly the product of imitated words from the usufruct of plagiarism.
In Pietropolis, many documents have been kept once upon a time at the United Fictional Research Service, but there was a raging fire that broke out sometime in the period of history that burned every single prophecy contained therein, which contributed to more confusion as to what the particular prophecies lends itself,to be, including what constitute a proper authorship, and many feared that the said prophecies may find itself into the reach of the wrong hands.
This has been a dilemma ever since, and this is an issue that holds back many souls from the world of Fantasy in pushing their agenda further, for fear that plagiarism will settle down sinisterly in their midst, and render their Congress powerless in driving them away. Authenticity has been the main substance when it comes to the elements that compose a mythical agent; in opposition, it was the character of the Sinister Agent that is characterized in complete opposition of this important concept.
This academic discussion will further develop into the main issue of this book, which is the advocacy for the opening of the Lore of Commons. Many believe that only then will the world of Fantasy be able to determine the records that had been lost through the fires. But as far as the state of present politics is concerned, this advocacy has no way of pushing through, while the Chancellor of the Constitution was vehemently against in any moves to change the status quo.
But what happened to the ashes of the burned prophecies? Where are the instruments?
There is highly a myth that had been passed on from generation to generation regarding the prophetic value of authorship, and what eventually happens to the documents where such powerful prophecies were printed. Most allege that the instruments themselves takes an alchemic reaction that changes into a distinct substantial material relative to its implied magical properties, such that the documents (or the books) themselves become as magical as the prophecy themselves.
There is no visible changes that happens, but the process takes place invisibly and with certainty.
Others say that the prophecies are dependent on a rhetoric that contains the moral lessons of the prophetic message. It is not the document themselves that becomes magical, but the power of persuasion of the words that becomes the moral value of the authorship, which then becomes a magical phenomena that is capable of making an alchemic reaction of such kind.
In this school of thought, the magic is dependent on the changes made by certain Deeds of Rhetoric within an alchemic process that has been influenced by moral judgments, and this is the dominant view of the majority of the representation in the world Congress.
But nobody knew what is the truth because of the limited information that can be traced back from available historical records. There are no further evidence that these Deeds of Rhetoric actually existed within space and time, or even in the middle of known dimensional boundaries.
What is clear is that many significant authorship relates to a prophecy, and all prophecies must find itself to be fulfilled. In fact, prophecies are already fulfilled once the author's words are already written, in a future not far away.
For the Planetary Co-Op, this moment may have little value; but for the world of Fantasy, this means liberation from the enclosures that once set limits to the power of their creativity.
