Chapter Eight: Definition of Terms, Part I
Terms appearing in the Books, and the corresponding official definitions thereof, are hereby faithfully, and deliberately, enumerated and solemnly attested, to wit:
1. Planetary Cooperation at-Large (n.) the official name of the cooperative of Planets which have decided to form themselves as a singular, organic entity for the purpose of "closer cooperation and develop a prosperous commonwealth aimed at tightening individual security and the welfare of others, for the general good."
2. The Houses at-Large (n.) the main Bicameral Legislature composed of The Delegation, serving as the lower house, and the Upper Chamber, which functions as the upper house.
3. Stellar Sectors (n.) the main subdivision of the Cooperation, grouped according to the race that populate its planetary systems.
4. The Constitutions (n.) the fundamental law of the Cooperation responsible for defining the system of government, political organs, bill of rights, and adjudication within and among the conflicts and controversies arising from the relations of the several Stellar Sectors.
5. Interstellar Fleet (n.) the main line of powerful, very capabable, and fast spacecrafts mainly used in law enforcement, manufactured exclusively by the Spacecraft Yard for its appropriate use "in times of peace and war."
6. The Scope of Practice (n.) the term pertaining to the duties, place of honor, obligations, responsibilities, and limitations of the Upper House's control over the Space Police and Home Authority.
7. Apparition (n.) the main mode of trasportation on select Bases converted into civilian use, and not available to all other Planets within the system of transport where Blackholes limit such modality unfaithfully, due to the limitations set by the conditions of the independent Nebulas.
8. Nebula (n.) the main source of galactic energy prescribed within the Most Honorable Planetary Cooperation at-Large.
9. Novice (n.) the term used for pre-residency requirements before the actual commissioning within the Space Police and Home Authority, and the Minor Office of the Superiors for the Delegation Colony Guards.
10. Elite (n.) the term used for residents after being commissioned for their preferred service within law enforcement.
11. Master (n.) the official rank of the most high-ranking officers of the Space Police.
12. Superior (n.) the official rank of the most high-ranking officers of the Delegation Colony Guards.
13. Protocol (n.) the book containing the allowed conduct within the Rules of Engagement for law enforcers.
14. Committee on Accounts (n.) the budget office, comptroller of the currency, and economic department for at-Large's treasury requirements.
15. Toll Regulatory Board (n.) the main government agency that regulates large Space Ships related to logistics, large cargo movement, public convenience, and for other lawful purposes.
16. Special Agency for Tactics (n.) the main Defense College responsible for training law enforcers.
