Chapter Eighty: Total Quality Management
The discussion of dreams is a very sensitive matter not to be taken lightly by any reasonable pusuit in academic affairs, but existing convention does not agree with its specific definition and substantive composition. Up until this moment, the commercial selling of dreams has experienced considerable difficulty in defining acceptable quality standards relative to the official regulation of its trade and exchange. While the Union of Fantasy Purveyors has endeavored to propose total quality management to apply to dreams which may include inspection in detail of its vital composition with regards to its alchemical mixture and substantive clarification, many of those working within the industry has expressed opposition to these standardization efforts, for fear that regulation will ultimately lead to undue and unwarranted censorship.
As many proposals are held in abeyance, the dreams, as it is neatly packaged in colorful yet symbolical manner, remain to be the most ideal medium to store illicit substances relative to the proliferation of scams, and the buyers of the dreams are predisposed to be the victim of particle editing on its way within the supply chain, significantly altered when delivered to the intended customer. There were also credible reports from the Space Police and Home Authority that the logistical systems have been partially infiltrated by subjective militants who unknowingly embed the illicit substances, until the proper time when the dreams undergo a distillation process in order to extract and separate these illegal substances from the hosting of the dream.
The Fantasy Purveyors are responsible for the revitalization of imagination, and for the well-functioning of the human mind, to activate the impetus that gives birth to the substance of dreams and aspirations, which, in turn, gives life to the transfigured matter related to the induced capacity of the dreams to produce fantasy elements that ultimately defines (and redefine) the many known particles of myths and legends.
In the accredited methods of strict storytelling, there are still doubts on how this dynamic involving the production of dreams and the created world of myths and legends actually exist in a continuum of space and time. There is no known source and destination identified in this supply system, and the belief that both concepts exist almost instantaneously and undivided with each other, which is a true concept in reality within a set of predetermined condition, is a defined mystery involving the utility and actual polity governing the involuntary existence of the power and impetus of humane imagination.
The will power of the human mind is a nasty business.
By entertaining this basic premise, dreams are then considered to be responsible in the intricate process of determining the consequences of mere statements of opinion set apart from the actual body of knowledge, because the main characteristic function of dreams (and the act of dreaming itself) is to alter the preconceived notions of what is considered real from what can be achieved if impossibility becomes transitioned to the same state of quality or existence. What is considered real or not within the sphere of human conception is a simple matter of opinion within the presence of a perfect continuum, while actual knowledge itself provides for the basis of the criteria to be employed in the analysis of such matter (mostly by the agreed use of an established system of inquiry) in the proper determination of questioning why things actually exist or by describing its functionality or utility.
In very simple language, an opinion (usually expressed in a hypothesis or assumption) will become a matter of knowledge only if corroborated either by the use of persuasion, defense of the absolute truth, report of observed phenomena, the identification of falsehoods, biases, beliefs, contradiction, and the natural tendency of things to be self-evident in the process of elimination, mainly embodied in the system of known methods of scientific inquiry.
What was concerning in this alarming issue of the business of dreams is its capacity to influence the general perception of reality that is well within the reach of persuasion and rhetoric, a state which is mostly derived from the implication of a declaration of opinion by claiming its own merit as a well-conceived fact or body of knowledge (also known in its intention as pure deception). While it is more dangerous to suppose that dreams, which bring illusions, eventually become delusions by the erroneous application of the defective reality once thought to be the main particle in the medium of dreaming, the presence of an opportune moment to censor the thoughts of good quality may also result in a faulty condition that will end in the same level of evil consequences once altered within the same set of the state of perfect continuum.
A dilemma inevitably presents itself, a battle between regulated state and the intrinsic evil tendency of things.
