Chapter Thirty Two: Barbaric Death

"Who could have done this barbaric way of killing someone? Who could have done it without a trace? Who?!"

The Minority President of the world of Fantasy was greeted with the angry questions coming from the President of the Planetary Co-Op himself, obviously abhorred of the news that a very influential humanoid has been found dead, crucified right in the heart of Pietropolis, the capital.

"Crucifixion," a voice in the room said.

"What? Who is that? Speak to me at once!" the President of the Planetary Co-Op demanded immediate answers while his head circles the room, searching for the owner of the voice.

"She was crucified, murdered in the most cruel method. The manner of death is called crucifixion, the most barbaric way of death ever invented by the humankind," the voice declared in a gloomy manner. "Meanwhile, the two wooden plane formed opposite to each other in a perpendicular manner is called a cross."

"A cross?" the President of the Planetary Co-Op asked. "Who are you, and why are you so knowledgable with all of these things?"

"I know how the humankind evolved from the classical civilization to the advanced society that it is today. I am Jeremy Kurtz, Your Excellency."

"So, you do know who perpetuated this ruthless murder?" the Minority President asked Jeremy Kurtz. He happens to be the most trusted Adviser to the Minority President.

"I have knowledge of the human beings, but I cannot tell for certain who committed this murder. All I know is that the humankind has an inherent weakness that everybody in the world of Fantasy knows about," Jeremy said.

"And what is this weakness? Speak."

"They are controlled by their emotions, consumed by their anger, and their life is so dependent in the beating of their hearts."

Everybody in the room was confused.

"A beating of the heart?"

"So, who could have done this, then, based on what you are telling us?" the President of the Planetary Co-Op also asked in frustration. "Do you actually know for certain or not?"

"I think I know a way on how to find out, Your Excellency," Jeremy clearly said.
