Chapter Sixteen: The Day of Defiance of the Lore of Commons

The many things that characterize the Planet Garrison has been borrowed from its rich history that saw the many fightings within the planetary systems in ways that involve several disputes that has not been resolved by the reach of diplomacy. But while only gross misunderstanding was being alleged, the actual controversy related to these wars are being linked to the Lore of Commons.

It was then that the Lore of Commons has been sealed with an advanced optical sealant that could mean death "to anyone who would treacherously attempt to open its doors of secrets." There was one incident in the past where such forbidden act was attempted, and the unfortunate soul who gathered all the courage to try to defy the power that held its secrets, the Lore of Commons quickly handed his inevitably painful death.

The resulting death was so cruel that the incident became known as the "Day of Defiance." The several planetary systems have made the utmost effort to warn all of their citizens regarding the forbidden acts, in worry that another incident might repeat the Day of Defiance that has been witnessed with horrendous paranoia and severe credulity.

Elite Enforcer Jeremy Crushburns has made sure to inquire of the many things that could put Garrison in a situation under threat, and he has been very careful to probe upon any possibility that someone would be foolish enough to commit the Day of Defiance anew after the Freedom of Information Act has been debated heavily that has achieved national prominence and media coverage; it was passionate enough to inspire someone to "senselessly do it again."

"Any suspicious spacecrafts landing on here?" Elite Enforcer Crushburns asked.

"Not that we are aware of," Director Sisha Galore replied. "But we have strengthened the security further upon the receipt of the order of the Chancellor of the Constitution. We will act swiftly to discourage anybody who wishes to repeat the errors of the Day of Defiance."

"Of course," Crushburns said. "And the current situation within the vicinity of the Lore of Commons?"

"Guards are everywhere. We have strictly followed the order of the Chancellor."

The initial assessment of Crushburns regarding the situation has been commendable. While Planet Garrison's strategic location makes it safe from all unwanted ambush from enemies coming in all directions without being detected at once, Crushburns still feel the instinct that something will go very wrong.

"I'd like to see the actual security of the Lore of Commons," Crushburns demanded.

"Yes. Absolutely."
