Chapter Fifteen: The Agency OMVPA

Three emergency alarms were sounded that fateful day, two of them are extremely critical in nature. One of the three incidents was even considered little of value at first, and there are many inherent issues that was found attached to the implications of what has transpired since then.

It was a tragedy that nobody knows the reason of, but it did happen. There were many testimonies taken after that, effectively attesting to the historicity of the event, but nothing substantial is there to support the claims that it was a perilous moment in the account of the past.

The claims themselves are rather mysterious, and it was almost as fiction as fantasy itself. It simply defies the many principles and the general logic of a legitimate inquiry that involves the employment of the scientific method. Although fantasy is as limitless as the imagination can reach, there is a known certainty to its scope and limitations. The infinite possibility needed to be defined at first instance, because the lack of parameters diffuse the effectiveness of the motivation of the fantasy being written as a legitimate dream.

There was still no known definition in this case, but it did proceed to employ its characteristics into the world of Fantasy that was later on linked to the existence of the Soulpox disease, and the race who brought this vessel containing the metaphysical information about this strange illness was to be considered traitors to the pertinent provisions of the General Mystery Act.

However, nothing has been conclusively proven, and it remained to be a mystery that has not been solved for many decades. It is as if that the dark matter materialized almost instantaneously and on its own making. Those who have witnessed the event has a lot of things to say that does not make any sense.

Owing to the shortage of staffing within the Space Police and Home Authority, the world of Fantasy has resolved to create the Agency of the Office of the Minority Vice President Act to assist the outnumbered Space Police, in case an impending invasion will immediately follow the presence of this strange disease.

The "Ronnesis," as they are colloquially called, are special agents of Mystery that has been tactically trained to investigate crimes and felony involving "mysterious" occurences where the Space Police lacks the expertise, although the Home Authority still completely controls all Fantasy affairs while exercising unqualified subjugation of events that fall under their automatic jurisdiction.

The Ronnesis are headed by the Agent-General for the Minority Vice President. Ever since the founding of the Agency OMVPA, much of its mandate has been lawfully increased to involve more participation in mercantile interests, particularly the enforcement of law related to scams and illegal trade of addicting substances.

The interplay of the several jurisdictions between the Space Police and the Ronnesis has been bitterly fought through the years, and many dialogues have been made to thresh out the differences, especially in the question of the use of the Needle Bases. While there were several instances in which such dialogues succeeded, many conflicts were experienced before the current status quo was achieved.

It was eventually ruled that the Needle Bases can be used by everyone as long as they are trained by the Special Agency of Tactics, or its equivalent in the world of Fantasy.
