Chapter Six: The Delegation Colony Guards

It was a bright, sunny day near the border of the Blackhole Interway 217, which became the controversial focus in political debates for arguing the quick passage of the Freedom of Information Act. And on this side of the world of Fantasy very near the Interway, the immigration fleet stationed right after the portal of travel from the doorway of space and into the gateway leading to this world is under the direction of the Delegation Colony Guards.

This Blackhole is, in fact, abruptly becoming very turbulent as a trading route. Every other fleet of the Delegation Colony Guards assigned there can attest to that fact.

The same Colony Guards are well-equipped with the fast Interstellar MK108s, which is one of the grandest combat space vehicles ever produced within the Planetary Co-Op. The vehicles are necessary (in case a chase or a hot pursuit operation is needed) for security purposes as the Cooperation's major mandate in intra-immigration calls for specific obligation from the world of Fantasy, for them to declare physical and product movements within the several worlds that the Imagination has been allowed to form since the Devolved Government was granted certain local autonomy in public affairs.

Within this fleet on-duty is Elite Enforcer John Evergreen, the Team Leader and a high-ranking officer within the Special Agency for Tactics. Right now, he is holding his weapon, which is called the Arc Dagger, as space vehicles and space ships pass through the border in front of him, while their passports are being stamped without any issue, until someone was pulled over for allegedly possessing a "scam." Evergreen was just following all the established protocols of the rules of engagement when he drew his Arc Dagger to begin questioning.

A scam is a major modus operandi prevalent during that time in which Fantasy by-products such as a "dreamery" needed in combat precision, are being smuggled out of the world of Fantasy and into Space. Many of these waste materials have been declared as banned substances after it was determined to be the leading cause of delusions among the races of the Interstellar Sectors.

The term scam itself refers to the "bottomless pouch" in which the dreamery is contained because of its delicate nature, while the Arc Dagger is an efficient weapon similar to the Needle Bases, although not as quite. An Arc Dagger has a curved handle, in which an optic blade protrudes to form a semi-circular form, taking the shape similar to a boomerang.

This Humanoid was in deep trouble as the Atomic Fission Scanner sounded the alarm after it detected a scam.

"Passport, please," said Evergreen. He was trying to gauge the suspect as he started his standard questioning, in case the person was armed and dangerous. His Arc Dagger is ready to strike at any moment.

"What is the matter, Enforcer?" the Humanoid replied as if there was nothing suspicious inside his vehicle. "I was running late today."

"I need your passport, sir," Evergreen repeated.
