Chapter Nine: The Lobbyist of the world of Fantasy

There was an attack from the Space Intruders!

The incident at the outer rim of Hedgeringe was brutally serious that it resulted in a complete wreck with the collision of the involved passenger vehicles. So it was a matter of luck that the passengers of Space Ship Unileather 085 came out of the mishap unharmed and alive, although the cargos and shipments within the vessels have sustained a considerable amount of damage.

The Superintendent of the Police has dispatched Elite Enforcer Arnau Holden, and his official Ward, Novice Granger Plufferloo, to investigate the matter, and determine the main cause of the accident and identify the hazards affecting the concerned Planetary Highway and come out with a report on how to further improve the safety of Space Transportation for the information of the Houses at-Large.

The law enforcers arrived in the scene with the passengers trying to escape the wreckage of the colliding vessels; the police immediately deployed the Emergency Capsule of their Interstellar N-Safety to come to their aid. Once all passengers have safely climbed into the Capsule, the two police officers dealt with the remaining Space Intruders with their Needle Bases. Despite their excellent dueling skills, some of the looting intruders were able to escape as the enforcers were fighting off the rest of them from the opposite direction.

Elite Enforcer Arnau is a Humanoid while Novice Granger is a Surepticor. As they finish off the rest of the thieving pirates, they quickly check on the passengers to see if anyone was gravely hurt.

The passengers are from the world of Fantasy.

"Is everybody alright? I am Elite Enforcer Arnau," he flashed his Police Badge for everyone to see. "I need to see everyone's passport as a matter of procedure."

Everyone nodded and acknowledged their presence. They all retrieved their passports for the officers to see. Once the formalities have been satisfied for the records, Elite Enforcer Arnau began to investigate.

"What happened here?" he gently asked.

One of them was a Werewolf who answered the question. "I am Gregory Waterson, sir, and I am a licensed Lobbyist for the world of Fantasy. We are here for an official trade mission, and we have been properly authorized by the Upper Chamber Resolution Number 0924-AX to legally offer our products in rue Dominard."

"May I see your documents, please?" Elite Enforcer Arnau asked, while four more Space Police enforcers arrive for back up in case the pirates return. They positionsd themselves adjacent to the place of the scene.

"Very well," the Elite Enforcer said, satisfied with all the documents presented to him. "Do you think this is just a simple case of looting and nothing more? Do you have any enemies because of your commercial activities?"

"We are strictly here for business. We have no enemies that we are aware of," Gregory said.

"You have not angered any Vampires, by any chance?"

"No."

"Were you in any way connected to the Alliance Against Scam Proliferation?" 

"Yes."
